To use locally sourced ingredients to produce spirits the way our great, great, great granddaddies did back when America was new.
We use a Tinbender original pot still that we designed and built using the best of both modern and old world technologies to bring you spirits that are full of flavor and character.
Pot distilled low and slow, to retain as much flavor as possible.
We make our brandies using local wines made from WA grapes, or apple ciders made from WA apples.
Our Whiskies (both aged and un-aged) are made from wheat harvested from a 5th generation farmer who also happens to be a fellow Tinbender.
Our Coffee and Vanilla Brandy is the perfect combination of brandy coupled with locally roasted coffee beans from Spokane's own Anvil Coffee, fair trade vanilla beans and organic sugar.
'Tinbender" just happens to be one of the cleaner nick-names sheet metal workers call each other.
Tapping into more that 16 years of experience welding pot stills, molding thumper and mash tuns, coupled with our strange love of chemistry (and drinking), we started Tinbender Craft Distillery.
